NYK—mag 0225
01 NYK, the beginning.
Legacy and Impact, beyond the temporary.
Although KLUB22 was a temporary project, its impact on Aarhus' cultural landscape was significant. By repurposing an unused space into a lively cultural venue, NYK demonstrated the potential of community-driven initiatives to revitalize urban areas and foster artistic innovation. The success of KLUB22 has inspired ongoing conversations about the importance of inclusive spaces in the arts and continues to influence new projects within the city.
Continuing the Mission with a new foundation
NYK remains active in promoting cultural engagement and inclusivity in Aarhus. Through various events and collaborations, the collective continues to support emerging artists and provide platforms for underrepresented voices in the arts community.

With this web series we wanted to unfold the process of creating KLUB22, to showcase how bottom-up community based work can invite and include upcoming cultural creators into established cultural organizations, and how to better take part in changing the current policies of how we create cultural influence in our city.
This series is produced and directed by Synkron and is made possible with funding from Aarhus municipality.
