06 Closing remarks

We’ve offered you fragments of a history, not a full story. Voices, textiles, imagery, rhythms and poetry, that all together barely even scratch the surface of the complexity around sound, identity, spaces and culture.

This zine doesn’t aim to define or conclude, and it doesn’t present itself as complete. Just like culture itself, it’s an ongoing living process, full of layers, contradictions and various perspectives.

We invite you to continue reflecting, and to not just sit with what you’ve read, what you’ve felt. The handmade notebook is a gentle call to action – for you to write, sketch, map and question. Make it yourself, follow the guide in the link, and continue the thoughts we’ve started.

Ask yourself; what do I take part in? And what do I take parts from? How do I give back? Where do I belong?

This is culture – It lives in people. In us. In you.

Now You Know.
